The brief I have been given asks me to advertise their new project, Bubble & Fizz. This is a new drink targeted at 18–24-year-olds who are looking for a health-conscious drink whilst they enjoy outdoor activities and looking at a healthy option to drink. To advertise this, I chose to produce a mood board and a social media video.

 

Bill board

I have chosen to do a billboard as one of my cross-media platforms as they are a highly effective way to advertise to young adults. This is because they can reach a large number of people quick and cost effectively. Unlike a TV ad, as a billboard is visible 24/7 and can be seen by majority of people as they will pass by. Making them an ideal way of promoting a new product or service to a wide audience. By using bold graphics and catchy slogans you can grab the attention of your target audience creating a lasting impression. Which can help to make your product stand out into people if they see it in a shop as they’ll remember the billboard. It will also highlight the USP, and I can do that by adding in their slogan. This can help to create the memorable impression and can help to differentiate it from other products in the market and make your ad more appealing.




 

Social media video

My second choice for the cross-media platforms is a social media video. I have chosen this as it links with a billboard but is great way to distribute your product to the target audience. This is because it is able to reach large masses of people within seconds of being put out into the social media world and is very cost effective. Unlike traditional forms of advertising a social media video can be shared and viewed by millions of people around the world making your product global. This is an ideal platform for promoting your product to your target audience as most young adults use social media so it with this product been aimed specifically at health-conscious people your guaranteed that this ad will pop up in their news feed or on social media that there on. Like a billboard its great for making a memorable impression as you can make sure that you use engaging visuals and use catchy music to create entertaining content. This is important to help make your product stand out in the market and make people want to click on and watch and share to friends and family who they think might like it. You can get celebrity endorsement in a video who can emphasize the drinks health befits or how good it is if you’re looking for this healthier option over what the audience is already drinking. They could say your slogan which will appeal to the audience especially if they like the celebrity and it will leave it memorable and differentiate it from other products leaving it to be more appealing for the audience. you can also add a call to action in a social media video making it easier to direct them to the where they can purchase the product in this case the bubble and fizz drink.






Colour Schemes:
I don't have a lot of freedom surrounding the colour schemes as the brief explicitly states the desired pink and orange colour scheme. I have explored different ways in which the colour scheme is presented, with different shades of the colours, gradients and how they are used in similar advertisements.



Font:
For the font I chose to use a bubbly font as I feel it represents the brand. Most brands are easily identifiable through the font used within their products and logo. And I would like to achieve this with my design for Bubble and Fizz.
